The test bench used to acquire the dataset was composed of two similar triphasic squirrel cage induction machines, two frequency converters, a failure emulation control panel, and a resistor load bank. One of the induction machines was properly prepared to enable the emulation of stator winding inter-turns to short-circuit. Its stator circuit was re-winded, making it possible to access the ramifications of the winding, in order to insert inter-turn short circuits.
